The Best Pumpkin Bread Recipe
Now that the weather is finally cooling down after weeks upon weeks of temperatures in the mid-nineties, I can finally bake pumpkin bread without feeling out of season!
I always turn to the same recipe, because it never dissapoints. It is the Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread from Allrecipes, but with a slight adjustment: double the spice. It may seem like too much while dumping it into the mixing bowl, but the extra cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger give it the perfect flavor to make it a true favorite.
The recipe makes three loaves, so there's enough warm spiced bread to share with a couple of friends. A light dusting of powdered sugar right before serving makes it even prettier.
It never lasts long!
Do you have a favorite fall recipe you continue to make year after year? Do you get the craving to bake once the weather cools off, too? I would love to hear about it!
Have a lovely day, friends!
-Bridget :)
