Red and Floral Georgia Dress

I have been wanting to sew up the Violette Field Threads Georgia Dress for a while now, and I finally finished it tonight!

I bought the pattern during the fall on sale, and I bought both these fabrics from Joann around the same time.

It was meant to be.

I love the pretty floral ruffles.

They add such a sweet feminine touch to the dress.

It has been a long time since I made buttonholes and sewed on actual working buttons, but I love how they look.

This isn't the most glamorous part of the dress, but I love the finished seams and the bodice lining!

My daughter had to go to bed before I finished sewing it together, but I think she's going to like it.

I love how this dress came together, and I'll definitely be sewing more from this pattern.

I bought a few new patterns on sale over the last couple of months in addition to this one, and I'm looking forward to sewing them soon!

Have you tried any new patterns lately, or do you have favorites you keep going back to? What are they? I'd love to know.

Edit: I was able to have her try it on the next day, and I put the pictures in a blog post here if you'd like to check it out!
