Rosemary and Maple Sweet Potatoes

Today, I am excited to share my recipe for Rosemary and Maple Sweet Potatoes. This recipe is very easy, and has a delicious flavor combination! The outside of the sweet potatoes are lightly crisp and caramelized with a hint of rosemary, while the inside is naturally sweet and tender. The dusting of salt over the top of the finished potatoes complements the flavors perfectly, and makes them addictively delicious. This dish is guaranteed to be devoured quickly!

First of all, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.

Next, gather the ingredients:
  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped Fresh Rosemary
  • 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Sea Salt

Now it is time to peel and dice the sweet potatoes. I am not very skilled at peeling potatoes with a knife, so I always opt for the vegetable peeler.

After the potatoes are prepared, move them to a mixing bowl and add the rosemary, maple syrup, and olive oil. Stir until the ingredients are well combined.

Now dump the mixture onto a baking pan. I recommend using a metal sheet pan, because it caramelizes the bottoms of the sweet potatoes nicely.

Time to bake! Place the baking sheet in the oven at 450 degrees F for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops of the sweet potatoes turn golden and the potatoes are soft inside. Once they reach the desired doneness, remove the pan from the oven.

Find a pretty plate, transfer the tender sweet potato morsels, and grind some sea salt over the top. Now is the perfect time to admire your delicious and easy creation before it is quickly devoured.

As soon as I placed this dish on the table, my family quickly consumed every last morsel. They were very happy with the potatoes, and are excited for me to cook more in the future. I hope you enjoy the recipe!
